As the Inflight Courseware Developer Intern, you’ll gain experience applying the ADDIE model for all steps of the instructional design process for a variety of learning and development material. Throughout your internship, you’ll assist our team and the business by creating Inflight training courseware for Flight Attendant ground and flight training. You will participate in the process of creating learning components that are learner-centered and will equip our Flight Attendant to perform their duties and responsibilities from initial to recurrent training. You will help ensure we have fully capable and confident Flight Attendants on all Endeavor Air flights.

 

The Application Process: All internship postings close on December 26th, 2022 but we encourage applicants to apply as early as possible to receive next steps in the application process. All applicants will be required to complete a one-way video interview. If you are applying for multiple positions you will only need to complete one interview video. Please note, due to high volume of applications, request to submit a one-way video interview may not come until early-mid January 2023. Also, submitted videos will take several weeks to review and you may not receive an email or hear the status of your one-way video interview until end of January-mid February 2023. 

 


  • Apply the ADDIE model to design and develop learner-centered courseware.
  • Work on multiple development projects simultaneously following a documented project planning tool.
  • Design, build, and implement online and blended offerings.
  • Help develop eLearning modules, videos, virtual classroom material, and in-person/on-site classroom material.
  • Participate in the development of a courseware learning video from storyboard to production.
  • Coordinate with team members, subject matter experts, and external vendors, or consultants.
  • Evaluate offerings to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Computer work, in a typical office environment, sitting for the majority of the day.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program in Human Resource Development, Adult Education, or related field with junior or senior class standing.
  • Experience developing and/or implementing training courseware in ILT and CBT platforms.
  • Understand instructional design and adult learning theories.
  • Ability to work full time (32-40 hours/week) during weekdays, with some schedule flexibility, if needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and cognitive skills.
  • Are self-directed and self-sufficient.
  • Ability to remain calm, in control and good humored even under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Articulate and associated e-learning software.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture.
  • Repetitive motion such as typing and phone work.
  • Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
