Location - Chicago, IL Preferred (3 days at client location downtown), but can look at remote if good candidate
Duration: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and interpret business requirements for automation initiatives.
- Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and workflows.
- Integrate automation tools with existing systems and platforms to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Identify root causes of automation failures and implement timely fixes to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of automation processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage timelines to ensure automation projects are delivered on schedule.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements through automation to reduce manual effort and increase productivity.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in automation tools (E.g. Automation Anywhere, UiPath)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
