Job Description Job Title: Junior Automation Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 12 months Pay Rate: $58/hr Job/Role Description: This role focuses on building and maintaining automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and support data-driven decision making across the enterprise. Develop, test, and maintain Python scripts and automation workflows using Ansible to reduce manual effort and ensure consistent infrastructure and application configurations. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources for reporting and operational insights.

Design and deliver interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI that provide clear, actionable intelligence to stakeholders. Identify automation opportunities, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and implement scalable Python-based automation. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing automation scripts, SQL queries, and Power BI reports to maintain high performance and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation tools with existing systems and ensure seamless data flows. Document all automation processes, code, and reporting solutions while following best practices for version control, security, and maintainability. Provide technical guidance and support on automation initiatives and data visualization tools to internal teams.
