POSITION: JUNIOR AUTOMATION ENGINEER REPORTS TO: INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION ENGINEERINGING MANAGER EMPLOYMENT STATUS: FULL-TIME โ€“ EXEMPT PRIMARY POSITION OBJECTIVE Design and implementation of automation projects to meet company goals, customer specifications, and industry requirements. This position is responsible for the technical execution of assigned projects and will assist with the development of schedules, budgets, and timelines. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES โ€ข Research, develop and implement automation solutions to implement cost savings and process improvement strategies โ€ข Define project scope, budgetary requirements, and develop project plans to ensure timely completion of projects. โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization and build strategic partnerships with vendors and suppliers to develop successful strategic solutions โ€ข Work with existing solutions to troubleshoot problems and/or to determine if upgrades are necessary. โ€ข Design and provide appropriate training for automation solutions to production management and team. โ€ข Understand manufacturing processes and participate in production meetings to provide technical knowledge and solutions to potential continuous improvement or corrective action projects. โ€ข Inspect electronic systems, instruments, and equipment to ensure they meet applicable regulations and safety standards. โ€ข Effectively manage and complete multiple projects to meet individual, departmental and company goals. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION โ€ข Associateโ€™s degree in mechanical/industrial/electrical engineering, industrial technology and/or two โ€“ five years of relevant experience with automation or PLC Programming. โ€ข Must be self-motivated and efficient with time management to ensure timelines and deadlines are met accordingly. โ€ข Proficient communication skills including written and verbal communication. โ€ข Strong knowledge of computer operating system PI285650131
