Automation Developer

The Automation Developer plays a key role in building, deploying, and maintaining automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and process scalability across the organization. Working from architectural designs and technical specifications provided by the Automation Solutions Architect, the Automation Developer is responsible for implementing end-to-end automation solutions using enterprise automation technologies.

This role focuses on developing reliable, scalable automation solutions using tools such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Microsoft Power Platform technologies, system integrations, and AI-enabled automation capabilities. The Automation Developer collaborates closely with the Automation Architect, Director of Automation and Intelligence, and other technical teams to ensure solutions are implemented according to established design standards and governance frameworks.

Essential Functions

  • Develop automation solutions based on architecture designs, technical specifications, and documented requirements.
  • Build automation workflows using enterprise automation technologies such as RPA platforms, Microsoft Power Platform tools, Agents, AI-enabled automation capabilities, and integration frameworks.
  • Implement automation solutions that integrate with enterprise systems, APIs, and data sources.
  • Develop reusable components, libraries, and automation assets to improve development efficiency.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization of automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Automation Solutions Architect to resolve development challenges and support architectural adjustments when needed.
  • Participate in technical reviews to ensure adherence to architecture standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
  • Support deployment of automation solutions into production environments.
  • Monitor and maintain automation solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and operational stability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes or enhancements as required.
  • Maintain documentation related to development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions.
  • Participate in project planning activities and provide technical input on development timelines and complexity.
  • Completes annual compliance courses.
  • Adheres specifically to all corporate policies and procedures. Also adheres to Federal and State regulations and laws; including, the Bank Secrecy Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
  • Adheres to all levels of our Service Excellence standards.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience developing solutions within enterprise automation environments.

• Familiarity with RPA platforms such as UiPath or similar automation technologies.

• Experience working with Microsoft 365 tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and related technologies.

• Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, and data exchange between enterprise applications.

• Understanding of automation frameworks and development best practices.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted or agentic automation technologies is a plus.

• Experience developing and troubleshooting automation workflows in enterprise environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple development tasks across projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with technical teams and stakeholders.

Physical Demands / Work Environment

Vision, hearing, speech, dexterity, and visual concentration are required. A valid driver's license may be required. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers as needed to perform essential functions of the position. The work environment is a professional office environment with standard office equipment.
