Responsibilities

The Automation Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. This role will work with a variety of automation technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), low-code platforms, and AI-driven tools-to support the organization's digital transformation strategy.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $62,300/yr - $153,000/yr plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountability 1:

    Automation Development & Maintenance
    • Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using a range of tools (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, Python, AI/ML APIs, low-code platforms).
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and process owners to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
    • Maintain and enhance existing automations to ensure continued performance and alignment with business needs.
    • Monitor automation performance and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure value delivery.

Key Accountability 2:

  • Collaboration & Governance
    • Ensure adherence to automation governance, security, and compliance standards.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including process maps, solution designs, and user guides.
    • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Mentor and support junior developers through code reviews & technical guidance.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ Years experience in automation development.
  • Experience with one or more automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, Python scripting, low-code platforms).
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale automation projects.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • UiPath Associate certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience with Version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with AI/ML, NLP, or intelligent automation concepts or tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other business locations.
