Senior Software Engineer โ€“ AI-Driven Middleware Vulnerability Automation Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build an enterprise automation platform that identifies, prioritizes, tests, and supports remediation of vulnerabilities across Java middleware environments running on RHEL Linux.
This role combines software engineering, automation, vulnerability management, middleware expertise, and AI-assisted development to improve the speed, accuracy, and scalability of vulnerability response processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic AI workflows, automation engineering, testing frameworks, and enterprise middleware platforms.
Key Responsibilities AI & Automation Engineering
  • Design and develop intelligent automation workflows that identify vulnerabilities and map them to remediation actions.
  • Build agent-based or AI-assisted workflows leveraging LLMs, generative AI tools, and AI coding assistants.
  • Create automation solutions that improve vulnerability detection, remediation recommendations, testing, and release readiness.
  • Continuously improve platform coverage, accuracy, and effectiveness through intelligent workflow enhancements.
Vulnerability Management & Remediation
  • Identify, prioritize, and track vulnerabilities across enterprise middleware environments.
  • Evaluate issues based on severity, exploitability, business impact, and dependency context.
  • Support remediation planning and execution by connecting vulnerability analysis to actionable fixes.
  • Work with CVEs, vendor advisories, security scanning tools, and remediation workflows.
Testing & Quality Engineering
  • Define and automate regression, certification, and validation testing strategies.
  • Execute, monitor, and improve automated test suites across middleware platforms.
  • Generate release notes, testing evidence, certification artifacts, and readiness documentation.
  • Enhance overall testing effectiveness and automation coverage.
Middleware & Platform Engineering
  • Support and automate enterprise Java middleware environments.
  • Build scalable engineering solutions and reference architectures.
  • Troubleshoot, package, deploy, and maintain middleware applications on RHEL Linux.
  • Integrate automation capabilities into existing middleware and release management processes.
DevOps & CI/CD
  • Integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines and release automation frameworks.
  • Utilize configuration management and infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible.
  • Support enterprise deployment, packaging, and release management processes.
