Job Description

Do you have a passion for cooking and high quality, scratch kitchens, creating delicious and unique modern Cuban dishes? If you can manage a kitchen when the Executive Chef is not there, coach and motivate the team, then consider a career with us.

We are looking for a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager to join our team. Must be able and willing to execute recipes created by a concept chef in a high-volume establishment. Expect to work nights until 11pm-12am (unless you are the opening Sous Chef) weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant with high culinary standards
  • The advantage goes to candidates with a diploma from a culinary school or a food handler certificate such as ServSafe Manager, or the local equivalent.
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly.
  • Adhere to food safety standards.
  • Display culinary and knife skills.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English. Spanish is preferred.
