Job Description
Cortica is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join its expanding team!

The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for identifying opportunities for product improvement and/or creation, shape the vision of Cortica’s products, and ensuring Cortica is delivering highly crafted, honed products that have a meaningful impact on users and customers. The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for designing and building a brand-new product within the healthcare industry, from 0 to 1. The Senior Product Designer will work closely with stakeholders to understand current workflows and products, identify opportunities, and use their findings to create innovative solutions through technology. This role will have a high-level of autonomy over design decisions that will greatly impact the patient experience through technology.

What will you do?
  • Execute product discovery and design processes to research existing workflows and define opportunities to deliver innovative solutions.  
  • Create thorough and clear business proposals and product recommendations to executive-level stakeholders to obtain buy-in for product delivery.  
  • Provide informed recommendations based on data and feedback from stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to define project goals and requirements. 
  • Generate design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes to visually communicate ideas and solutions. 
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback, usability testing, and data analysis to continually improve the user experience. 
  • Ensure the visual and interactive consistency of the product across various platforms and devices. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies and apply learnings to product design and features. 
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of designs. 
  • Advocate for the user throughout the design and development process, considering accessibility and inclusivity. 
  • Participate in and coordinate design critiques where constructive feedback may be provided to team members with alternative solutions in a thoughtful, thorough, and professional manner. 
  • Document design decisions, rationale, and guidelines to maintain a cohesive design system. 
  • Contribute to the overall product strategy and roadmap by providing insights from a design perspective. 
  • Stay adaptable and responsive to evolving project requirements and timelines. 
  • Must maintain a high level of expertise in using Figma and Figjam.
 
We’d love to hear from you if:
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in human-computer Interaction, communication design, graphic design, media arts, or similar (preferred). 
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in designing and shipping an end-to-end product.

The base pay range for this opening is $123,822 to $139,300. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
