We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.

Summary: Assists in running of the restaurant and banquets to ensure that the service and the product are in accordance with policies and procedures of the Lodge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in recruiting and training of all the service personnel.

Accepts responsibility for complete service in the Dining Room in the absence of the F& B Director.

Adheres to all SOPs.

Is knowledgeable of P&L Statements, Budgets, and PAF.

Assists the F&B Director in coordinating and in proving interdepartmental communications.

Maintains and implements courtesy and aggressive hospitality program.

When on duty in the restaurant, ensures that cash handling procedures are followed up and no cash shortage occurs.

Takes monthly uniform inventory.

Assists F&B Director in enforcing sanitation program at all times.

Maintains and implements daily "Clean as you go Program".

Maintains and updates cleaning procedures and schedules to meet company standards.

Trains and ensures that all staff work in a safe manner according to Lodge standards.

Submits any accident/incident reports promptly.

Ensures that at least one associate of the restaurant participates in all Lodge Safety Committee Meetings.

Participates in a Safety Committee meeting at least once every three months.

Implements explanation of job descriptions and cleaning routines to each associate.

Assists in the tour of the Lodge facilities for each associate.

Coaches and counsels whenever necessary.

Performs projected progress reports.

Occasionally takes up a station.

Gives suggestion on how to increase sales turnover.

Inspects the Cashier/Greeter stand daily for cleanliness.

When on duty, checks the grooming of all associates.

Coordinates through the Manager all plans and actions to: achieve improved operations, solve problems, overcome inefficiencies and offer suggestions for necessary changes.

Assists the Manager in the cleaning of the restaurant and be present at least once a month for the weekly inspection.

When on duty, inspects the cleanliness of the restaurant prior to and after the operating hours.

Be present in all restaurant meetings.

Attends Food and Beverage meetings, forecast meetings and staff meetings periodically.

Adheres to Lodge policies and procedures:

Attends work on-time as scheduled and leaves work at scheduled time unless other arrangements have been made.

Follows Lodge grooming and dress standards.

Trains and ensures that all staff work in a safe manner according to Lodge standards.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

Maintains a positive attitude towards the Lodge and the job being performed.

Maintains a safe attitude, conducts all job duties in a safe manner, and reports all work related accidents immediately.

Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other Lodge associates to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.

Carries out all reasonable requests by management which the Associate is capable of performing.

Knows and demonstrates the Coral Hospitality 3 Steps of Service and the 15 Basics of Service in the performance of daily responsibilities.

The Lodge functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours per day. All employees must realize this fact and be aware that it may be necessary to adjust the employee's work schedule from his/her accustomed shift due to business demands.

Knows and abides by all departmental, Coral Hospitality and Lodge policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises employees in the Dining Room, Tavern and/or Banquets. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
