Summary
The Sr Project Manager has oversight for large-scale solar, energy storage, and gas fired power plant projects that have significant and broad financial and/or operational impact across one or more business units or enterprise-wide. Manages and oversees the management of multi-year projects or projects with highly compressed schedules. Leads large, cross-functional, multi-disciplinary project teams. Stakeholders may include Board of Directors, external agencies and public officials. Project budgets are typically between $75,000,000 to $500,000,000. Projects involve significant financial/operational risk and/or innovative or industry changing technology and are identified as high/extreme complexity as defined within the APS Project Complexity guidelines. Communicates status updates and results to senior executives, enterprise-wide stakeholders and, at times, Board of Directors and external stakeholders.

Major Accountabilities
1) Plans and successfully executes large, cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, high-impact projects. Develops comprehensive execution plans in accordance with internal process methodologies.
2) Presents comprehensive project plan to project sponsors and management. Obtains all necessary stakeholder support and sponsor and executive approvals.
3) Oversees and leads project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, people management, vendor relationships and troubleshooting. Performs high-level negotiation with internal/external stakeholders and consultants throughout all aspects/phases of project.
4) Ensures schedules, budgets and resources are managed effectively.
5) Provides ongoing project updates to project teams, business management, project sponsors, executive leadership, board of directors, and external constituents including regulatory agencies, customers and public officials.
6) Ensures project deliverables and overall results meet or exceed sponsor and stakeholder expectations.
