The ASSA ABLOY Door Group is looking for a Senior Industrial Engineer to support our growing Region 4 operations. This role will play a critical part in advancing operational excellence, cost reduction, and process standardization across multiple locations.
This position will be based on-site at our Phoenix, Arizona regional manufacturing facility (or Service Center).

What will you do as our Senior Industrial Engineer?
You will lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites, partnering closely with site leadership, operations, and engineering teams to drive efficiency gains, reduce waste, and scale best practices across the region.
You will also:
  • Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process optimization projects across multiple sites
  • Provide multi-site Industrial Engineering support, improving throughput, efficiency, material flow, and layout
  • Identify and drive cost reduction and productivity opportunities across labor, material, and capital investments
  • Support and lead standardized work development and deployment, coaching teams on Lean principles and best practices
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend equipment, tooling, and layout improvements to increase capacity and efficiency
  • Partner on CAPEX projects, including justification, equipment selection, layout design, and implementation support
  • Maintain a strong Gemba presence, working directly with operators, supervisors, and site leaders to drive sustainable operational improvements
  • Support cross-functional collaboration
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate policies, AADG programs, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven experience driving multi-site efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools, including Kaizen events and project leadership
  • Demonstrated success driving cost savings, productivity improvements, and operational efficiencies
  • Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and influencing at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities across sites
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience supporting fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, or similar manufacturing processes preferred
  • Travel 50-75% to support regional initiatives and site needs
