About the Role:

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components to meet project requirements and industry standards. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including civil/structural, electrical, quality assurance, and project management to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs into final products. The engineer will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses and calculations to validate design concepts. Additionally, the position requires mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance to foster innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team. Ultimately, the Senior Mechanical Engineer will drive the successful delivery of complex mechanical engineering projects that align with organizational goals and customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering design and development.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles including thermodynamics, mechanics of materials, and fluid mechanics.
  • Experience with engineering analysis tools such as CAESAR II and AFT Fathom.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with pipeline, piping systems, and terminal operations.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to mechanical design, particularly in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
