Summary of Responsibilities

As a dishwasher, you will be responsible for cleaning all prep equipment, silverware, glassware and dishes according to sanitation requirements. You'll be responsible for keeping the dish pit organized and assist the kitchen in keeping the line and prep areas maintained, organized and clean. Your pace is critical to turning tables, so a strong work ethic is key to success.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, and miscellaneous smallwares with commercial dishwasher or three compartment sink 

• Place clean dishes or cooking equipment in designated storage areas 

• Maintain kitchen work and prep areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly condition 

• Sweep and scrub floors in the kitchen and dish area

• Clean garbage, compost, and recycling bins

• Remove and empty waste bins as needed

• May assist in preparing various foods for cooking or serving

• May assist in stocking supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, refrigerators, freezers, etc.

• Completing deep clean and other projects as dictated by management team

• Looks for opportunities and bring suggestions for improvement.
