Description:Job Title: Kitchen Staff / Dishwasher
Department: Operations / Food Services
Reports To: Operations Manager
Position Summary:

The Kitchen Staff / Dishwasher is responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food service, and ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This role plays an important part in supporting the daily nutrition and well-being of our clients. Candidates must maintain a respectful and professional demeanor while interacting with staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with basic meal prep under the direction of the Kitchen Manager or Chef
  • Support meal service by helping plate, portion, and distribute meals
  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen workstations and surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize serving lines, carts, and food containers after each meal service
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude toward staff and clients
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Adhere to facility policies, health regulations, and safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:Qualifications:
  • 6–12 months of professional kitchen or food service experience (healthcare or residential setting preferred)
  • Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • ServSafe certification is a plus but not required
