Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the work completed by Alliant's creative team, maintaining the highest quality standards in design, branding, and campaign delivery effectiveness
- Act as an ambassador and thought-leader in the design process at Alliant, inspiring creative excellence and innovative solutions that drive our go-to-market strategies
- Liaison with marketing leaders and business sponsors to understand top-of-the-house business objectives to ensure the creative team delivers value
- Oversee, art direct, refine and produce high-priority design deliverables, ensuring marketing and design assets and artifacts deliver on business objectives and product growth strategies
- Accountable to establish an effective culture and camaraderie among creative, marketing, and partner teams within and outside of Alliant
- Evaluate, engage, and manage the relationship with a select group of third-party partners, including marketing and design agencies, suppliers, design associations, suppliers, software suppliers, among others
- Champion high-quality brand and design solutions and experiences, influencing the work prioritized across key business segments (such as Consumer Deposits, Consumer Lending, Residential Lending) and centers of excellence (Partnership, Digital, HR, Operations)
- Define the creative team's OKRs connecting them directly to Alliant's corporate strategy and top-of-the-house business priorities, including reporting results to leadership with insights that decision-making
- Develop, refine, and ensure adherence to Alliant's brand and visual identity system, ensuring quality delivery and consistency across campaigns and channels
- Lead the adoption of novel and innovative creative methodologies and approaches, leveraging new design practices, toolsets, and emerging technologies to improve productivity and team member skillsets
- Plan, direct and lead the work of the team to meet functional and individual operational objectives and goals. Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities. Responsible for hire, fire, performance, discipline and problem resolution decisions
Education & Experience
- Minimum - 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Design, Communications or related
- Minimum - 10 Years of Consultancies, design agencies, or similar in-house corporate environment or related
- Minimum - 5 Years of People management
- Expert knowledge in design software and toolsets (Figma, FigJam, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Knowledge of new toolsets and workflows that drive design and production efficiencies (e.g., Figma AI, Midjourney, Lumen5, Sora) is highly preferred
In Lieu of Education
- 12 Years of Marketing, creative strategies, digital content, brand marketing including people management
Compensation & Benefits:
Typical hiring range: $149,700.00 to $256,700.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
