Our AmLaw 100 client's Private Client Services group advises high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and closely held businesses on complex estate and tax planning matters. This team is known for its discretion, technical sophistication, and ability to navigate sensitive multigenerational planning.
Role Summary
The associate will handle trusts and estates, transfer tax, and related income tax matters. The work spans estate structuring, business succession, charitable giving, and cross-border planning for clients with diverse portfolios.
Candidate Profile
  • 2-5 years of trusts and estates or transfer tax experience
  • LLM in taxation or estate planning preferred (completed or in progress)
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Licensed or eligible to practice in New York
