Youth Soccer Coach

Now hiring youth soccer coach starting immediately to train the rest of this current semester – program runs on Saturdays only for practices and games.

Actively hiring now for all cities in the East Valley. Time frame: morning to midday/early afternoon.

Training will begin upon hire through the remainder of the summer session with various training dates. The fall semester starts officially the first weekend of September.

Fall program runs from September to December and then the spring program runs from mid January through the beginning of May!

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced soccer coaches to join our team! Ideal candidates will:

  • Have strong soccer knowledge and experience
  • Enjoy coaching and working with children ages 5–15
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Be positive role models who can share their passion for soccer

For over 40 years, ACTIVSTARS has specialized in affordable, community-based youth programs across the country. We focus on teaching skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Position details: This is a part-time coaching position on Saturdays only, teaching soccer fundamentals to different age groups. Candidates must be available every Saturday between 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (actual teaching times vary by location).

Additional expectations:

  • Coaches are paid to work our seasonal soccer tournament weekend (Saturday and Sunday), where teams compete with others across the valley.
  • A few short training/meeting sessions are required each season (also paid).
  • Responsibilities include class preparation, coaching instruction, attendance and check-in, basic record keeping, and promoting upcoming program events.

Paid training is provided, including teaching guidelines, record procedures, and shadowing a veteran coach.
