STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Youth Sports Coaches are key members of the Health & Wellness team and will report to the Coordinator of Sports & Athletics of Health & Wellness. The primary responsibilities include hands-on-coaching, lesson planning, and role modeling good sportsmanship for athletes aged 2-15 years old. Coaching opportunities in the following sports; Capoeria. Youth Sports Coaches ensure that fair play and the philosophy of the Youth Sports Programs is maintained.

Coaches are expected to assist in assessing a player's skills and abilities to help create a balanced playing field. Create and implement lesson plans for practices. Maintain supervision and care of each athlete under the care of the Youth Sports program. Organizing and maintaining sports equipment. Directly responsible for communicating team practices and games to team members. Represent Commonpoint in a positive light at all times.
