Description


Hill City Sports Center is seeking an organized, energetic, and passionate Volleyball Coordinator to support the growth and daily operations of our volleyball programming. Reporting directly to the Programs Director, this role will assist with the coordination, staffing, scheduling, and execution of volleyball leagues, camps, clinics, tournaments, and club programs.

Position Summary

The Volleyball Coordinator will play a key role in developing a positive and competitive volleyball environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels. This individual will assist in overseeing volleyball operations while supporting coaches, league staff, athletes, families, and facility members.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of volleyball programs including:

    • Youth and adult leagues

    • Camps and clinics

    • Tournaments and special events

    • Volleyball club programming

    • Skills development programs

  • Recruit, schedule, and support volleyball coaches, instructors, officials, and league staff

  • Assist with practice schedules, court assignments, registrations, and program logistics

  • Support communication with athletes, parents, coaches, and participants

  • Help maintain a positive, organized, and professional volleyball environment

  • Monitor program quality, participation, and customer satisfaction

  • Assist with marketing and promotion of volleyball programs and events

  • Ensure safety standards, policies, and facility procedures are followed

  • Support setup and breakdown for volleyball events and tournaments

  • Collaborate with the Programs Director on program growth and development initiatives

Qualifications
  • Previous volleyball playing, coaching, or program coordination experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, skills development, and programming

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to lead and work effectively with coaches, athletes, and families

  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities

  • Ability to multitask and manage schedules and event logistics

  • Experience in sports, recreation, or youth programming preferred

  • CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage throughout the facility for extended periods

  • Ability to lift and move sports equipment and supplies as needed

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, tournaments, and special events when required
