Work Schedule: Work up to 20hrs per week. Most of your hours will come from training sessions as below:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 2.30-6.30pm
Tuesday, Thursday - 2-6pm
Schedule will adjust as needed for matches, serve and pass sessions, game day set up, or other duties as assigned.
Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Ongoing
Pay Rate: $9.00 - $10.00
Job Description:
Baylor Volleyball is seeking high character individuals to join their Student Manager team. As a part of the BUVB family, you will serve our staff and athletes in practice and on game day by assisting with equipment set up, the smooth running of practice, and in match duties as assigned. There are opportunities to take an active role in other areas of the program including recruiting, fundraising, operations, administration, gear, statistical analysis, and scouting.
Responsibilities:
-set up/tear down equipment
-game day activities including ball rotations, setting up match court, preparing home and locker rooms, preparing hospitality room, setting up our giant volleyballs, engaging with fans
-pumping up balls and other equipment maintenance
-laundry duties
-assist with statistical analysis and data collection
-report any concerns to staff in a timely manner
Qualifications:
-Maintain academic eligibility as a Baylor student
-Know and love the sport of volleyball
Pay:
1st year with the program you will earn $9 per hour, rising to $10 for your remaining time with the program.
