Job description

PURPOSE OF JOB:
Maintain the day-to-day LTO and clerical function of the warehouse. This includes the tracking of paperwork and follow-through of all paperwork, organizing, and maintenance of the warehouse and yarn location.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Must track and maintain paperwork for loading and unloading trucks.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Maintain yarn and locations in the warehouse.
  • Must perform weekly cycle counts of yarn.
  • Must maintain special paperwork.
  • Enter data in computer
  • Keep warehouse organized and neat.
  • Other duties as instructed by supervisor

NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and write
  • Good keyboarding skills.
  • Good knowledge of office procedures.
  • Good knowledge of office machines (fax, copier, calculator, printers).
  • Good phone skills
  • Must have 2 years Lift Truck experience
  • Must be able to communicate with freight lines and other departments within the company.
