About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) on our Public Sector team, you embed with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and Aerospace clients - designing and deploying bespoke AI solutions that drive mission-critical outcomes. This is a U.S.-based role supporting these public sector clients. Additionally, you help engineer secure, reliable systems that mission teams depend on every day, bringing a builder's mindset, an AI-first approach, and the technical depth to take complex challenges from concept to production.
Mission Responsibilities
  • Lead high-profile customer engagements - designing, building, and deploying tailored Salesforce solutions for defense, intelligence, and aerospace missions.
  • Partner directly with customers and mission stakeholders to translate complex needs into working technical solutions.
  • Build and ship secure, production-grade software using modern engineering practices, with AI as a core part of your development workflow.
  • Design systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows, and critically evaluate code (human- or AI-generated) for correctness, quality, security, and performance.

MinimumRequirements:
  • You bring 8+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience, including 4+ years leading Salesforce Core projects.
  • You have strong application design skills paired with data, integration, and security architecture expertise.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and can present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences.
  • You can travel 25-50% of the time to customer sites
  • Holds an active Secret clearance or higher

Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline; equivalent demonstrable work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • You have a background in defense/aerospace, classified environments at Impact Level 5/6 (IL5/IL6), or federal civilian agencies.
  • You hold a Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications.
  • You bring a strong enterprise architecture background and can convey best practices to stakeholders at all levels of a large organization.
