Job description

Our team is committed to enhancing physician and patient quality of life through Elation, a SaaS cloud-based clinical platform. Since inception, we've been focused on building a delightful, world-class experience that empowers physicians to deliver phenomenal care to patients.
Elation is looking for an RCM Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will serve as our revenue cycle subject matter expert in the sales process, bringing deep billing and RCM expertise to complex demos and discovery conversations with prospects and customers. You'll partner closely with our Account Executive, Customer Success, and Product teams to bridge the gap between prospect pain points and Elation's billing and practice management capabilities, with a particular focus on small to medium sized practices.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the RCM SME for Elation working closely with sales, marketing and enablement to identify process excellence marrying Elation's solutions with prospect and customer workflows
  • Lead RCM-focused demos for small and mid-market prospects (typically 3-10+ provider prospects)
  • Conduct live discovery with practice staff and billing teams, mapping workflows and pain points to resolve with Elation's AI billing and practice management solutions
  • Serve as the RCM SME for existing customers, helping practices improve operations with Elation
  • Deeply understand our customers' cash flow, economics, and processes, and how Elation's billing and RCM product functionality improves their overall financial outcomes
  • Work with Product Management to maintain deep, current expertise in Elation's billing and RCM product functionality; identify product opportunities and roadmap-worthy projects
  • Evangelize and educate internal colleagues on Elation's revenue cycle and billing capabilities, building confidence and consistency across the team
  • Support sales enablement by sharing RCM expertise with AEs, CSMs and other customer-facing team members
Professional Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management consulting, medical billing, or general RCM; with exposure to a diversity of practice types and billing environments
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end billing workflows across a range of primary care and specialty practice settings, including value based care practices
  • Excited about the opportunities for innovation with the use of AI in billing workflows
  • Ability to conduct live discovery with billing teams and immediately connect pain points to product solutions with confidence and fluency
  • Credibility and executive presence to engage expert billing teams as a true peer; able to match the depth of knowledge that experienced billers, RCM directors, and third-party billing companies bring to the table
  • Clear, confident communicator across all audiences, from front-line billing staff to executives, and from internal colleagues to prospective customers
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with an ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Customer Success, and Product
  • Experience with healthcare SaaS or EHR platforms a plus; prior pre-sales or solutions consulting experience is a bonus
