WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Proactively develop advanced product concepts, strategies and plans that are synergistic with brand strategy, sales plan, and business objectives.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Work closely with the Sr. Group Manager to identify and propose new product concepts, through comprehensive understanding of competitor strengths and weaknesses, consumer opinion and purchase behavior, brand strategic positioning, etc., collaborating with Product Planning and Pricing teams.
  • Support model line-up research efforts, including electrified vehicle strategies, that help Hyundai grow market share, establish Hyundai as a green leader, and maximize profitability.
  • Follow electrification trends, including battery innovations, consumer purchase consideration, battery pricing, federal and state battery recycling requirements, etc. and make recommendations
  • Understand consumer/technology/business trends and identify and promote innovation opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sr. Group Manager and department leadership to identify new strategic partnership opportunities with companies, organizations, etc., developing compelling business cases.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with all HMA business units.
  • Strengthen the relationships with key HATCI stakeholders for "One-Voice" to HMC.
  • Ad-hoc related requests.
  • Develops strategies and makes recommendations that impact the division and broader organization.Β 
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree a plus.
  • Six or more years of OEM experience of which at least three years in a strategic role desired.
  • Two to three years of future mobility / MECA related automotive experience.
  • Supervisory experience desired.
  • Excellent analytical skills - use both quantitative and qualitative data to create a broad, dynamic view of the market and synthesize the underlying insights of the data.
  • Adept at identifying key consumer insights and developing them into actionable strategies.
  • Effective knowledge of automotive strategy and market research activities.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, with the ability to influence a wide range of management levels, both inside and outside of HMA.
  • Β Proven track record presenting complex analyses in straightforward, digestible formats to influence executive decision-making.
  • Thorough computer skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and MTAB.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects.
WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
  • Compensation Range: $91,000 - $130,000 annual base salary
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
  • Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
