What you will do:
  • Serve as the technical and strategic leader for assigned complementary product categories across the division
  • Translate complex product and system information into practical, value-driven solutions that support customer needs and sales success
  • Provide technical consultation and system recommendations during the pre-sales process, supporting complex opportunities, strategic accounts, and enterprise-level initiatives
  • Analyze product specifications, system applications, and project requirements to develop accurate, profitable solutions and pricing recommendations
  • Lead responses to high-value customer requests and critical account issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned product categories, providing guidance to sales teams, leadership, and cross-functional partners
  • Drive product sales strategy and support the management of specific product lines with a focus on revenue growth, market expansion, and customer adoption
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and enhance product offerings
  • Support strategic product portfolio planning, including product selection, lifecycle management, competitive positioning, and growth initiatives
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and leadership teams to align priorities and drive execution across the business
  • Champion best practices, process consistency, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the product organization

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience. 
  • 8+ years of experience in windows and siding distribution, construction materials, product management, technical sales support, or a related field
  • Advanced technical expertise in windows and siding, materials, and applications
  • Experience leading teams, mentoring colleagues, or providing senior-level technical leadership
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate product performance, pricing strategies, profitability, and market opportunities
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to navigate complex customer scenarios and technical challenges
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM, ERP, or industry-specific systems preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions and influence key stakeholders
