Temporary Landscaper / Grounds Maintenance Worker
Elkhart, IN
Temporary / Seasonal Position | Full-Time Available
Position Summary
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a reliable, hard-working Temporary Landscaper to assist with the maintenance and beautification of our client's award-winning gardens and grounds. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining attractive landscapes, and can perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Plant, weed, mulch, and maintain flower beds and landscaped areas
  • Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns and pathways
  • Water plants, trees, shrubs, and garden displays as needed
  • Assist with seasonal planting and garden cleanup projects
  • Operate hand tools and basic landscaping equipment safely
  • Remove debris and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for visitors
  • Support special events with setup and grounds preparation as needed
  • Follow established safety procedures and work independently or as part of a team
Qualifications
  • Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, horticulture, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively with a team
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Walk, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods

Schedule
  • Temporary/Seasonal assignment
  • 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday
  • Daytime hours, including occasional weekends and special events as needed
