Job description

Job Summary (List Format)
- Serve as a Workday Finance Consultant specializing in PeopleSoft to Workday implementation projects for large financial firms or global enterprises.
- Lead and manage end-to-end PeopleSoft to Workday migration projects, focusing on successful implementation and ensuring data integrity.
- Design, execute, and optimize large-scale data migration strategies, including extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate requirements into Workday configurations.
- Identify and resolve complex data-related issues, maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and completeness throughout the migration process.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT, external partners) to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis between legacy (PeopleSoft) and Workday systems, driving necessary implementation adjustments.
- Provide guidance and best practices for Workday HCM, Core HR, and data architecture in enterprise-scale environments.
- Utilize strong knowledge in Workday data models, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio for effective migration.
- Apply expertise in handling high-volume data migrations (10M+ records) and complex transformation rules.
- Ensure data quality through cleansing and conversion mapping techniques.
- Leverage Workday Reporting, calculated fields, and security configuration knowledge.
- Communicate effectively and apply strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
- Workday certification in Finance or related modules.
- Experience in financial services, banking, or other data-intensive industries.
- Familiarity with ETL tools such as Alteryx, Informatica, or similar platforms.
