The Role

As a WMS Analyst, you will be responsible for planning, executing, deploying, and maintaining Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes and configurations to support efficient, reliable, and seamless operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including MGO, Electronic Pull Systems, and Production Pull Systems, to ensure effective system performance and operational continuity. As a key operational partner, you will work directly with GM Team Members, GSC Group Leaders, and Shift Leaders to address business needs, resolve WMS-related issues, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Additionally, you will provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to team members, helping strengthen system knowledge, enhance operational effectiveness, and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate current material processes compared to BOP and develop action items to resolved gaps

  • Actively participates in detail business requirements gathering and achievement of project milestones

  • WMS Training development and execution lead for End Users

  • Support operational Group Leaders, Team Leaders and Team members in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

  • Identify, plan and lead operational plant readiness activities to deploy WMS

  • Planning and operational support for all systems (MGO, PPS, EPS, WMS)

  • WMS, EPS and PPS configuration focal point

  • Responsible for monitoring gaps in MGO routings and displacements

  • Responsible for planning, configuration, and validation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Key User Training (KUT)

  • Operational WMS focal point after Go Live - ensures that there are no interruptions to the assembly line or warehouse due to system issues

  • Develop and lead Manual Operation Process (MOP) at the shop floor

  • Responsible for KPI's, metrics, and data reporting to leadership and central office (including enhancements) aiming at Productivity Opportunities

  • Configuration lead for CI process - EPS/PPS/Sequencing/Kitting/build changes and the ability to adapt on the fly to changes that impact the production floor

Your Skills & Abilities

  • Experience using data, reporting tools, and dashboards to improve operational performance, productivity, and waste elimination.

  • Experience with supply chain execution and warehouse management systems, including MGO, PPS, PPD, or similar platforms.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while meeting timelines and business objectives.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly operations, work measurement, and standard work practices.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain and material flow processes, including logistics, receiving, internal material movement, kitting/sequencing, scrap management, and obsolescence control.

  • Ability and willingness to work extensively with computer-based systems to configure, test, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot WMS applications.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as Power BI, Access, and database management tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute projects, including resource coordination, scheduling, and risk mitigation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and drive continuous improvement.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.

  • Ability to stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and AI-enabled tools that support data accuracy and process efficiency.

  • Willingness to travel locally, as needed, for training and business support activities.

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and spend extended periods standing or walking within plant operations as required.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering with 5 years of equivalent plant floor experience

  • Prior experience with a warehouse management system is preferred operating systems.

  • Multi plant and/or functional experience preferred

  • Experience with GMS SLT implementation and execution

  • Experience in a Materials Office environment
