Hospice Scheduler – Full-Time

Location: Tucson, AZ – 100% In Office - not a remote position

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM 

Employment Type: Full-Time

Dependable Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for an organized and dependable Hospice Scheduler to join our Tucson team. This position plays an important role in coordinating our clinical staff and ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate care.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate schedules for hospice nurses, aides, and clinicians

  • Match clinicians with patients based on location and patient needs

  • Manage call-offs, PTO, schedule changes, and visit coverage

  • Track hospice benefit periods and schedule required face-to-face visits

  • Communicate schedule updates with clinical staff and leadership

  • Maintain accurate scheduling information in WellSky (Kinnser)

  • Assist with additional administrative and scheduling needs

What We’re Looking For
  • 1–2 years of healthcare scheduling experience preferred

  • Hospice experience preferred, but not required

  • WellSky (Kinnser) or similar EMR experience is a plus

  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
