Your Role
The Seasonal Tracking Weekend Operator is responsible for monitoring, tracking & proactively managing shipments through transit associated with the department's high-risk & high-value customer accounts during overnight hours. This role is integral in ensuring seamless customer service for our customers performed during the hours of 10:00pm to 8:00am ET, beginning on the evening of Friday & Saturday.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • This representative will follow the direction of the After-Hours Lead through collaboration with Weekend Leadership by monitoring real-time shipment statuses for designated high-risk/high-value customers utilizing Turvo (TMS system), customer specific portals.
  • Multi-tasking in the highest capacity along with clear email and phone communication management both internally and externally.
  • Perform routine check-calls & location monitoring on all designated shipments to ensure compliance with customer specific service level protocols while also creating documentation through the TMS system of all updates.
  • Monitor, identify & respond promptly to issue resolution when delays, route deviations, security alerts, missed check-calls arise.
  • Lead the efforts in escalation including customer communication, leadership notifications, and active problem-solving during allotted shift time & information can be provided when high-severity incidents occur (theft, tampering, extended delays, loss of communication).
  • Provide efficient hand-off with clear directional tasks for the day shift team of anything outstanding.
  • Maintain accurate customer portal updates (pending customer requirements) and strive to achieve overarching Freight departmental goals such as OTP, OTD, and other KPI's.
  • Collaborate and provide tracking support based on prioritization efforts and problem-solving needs including but not limited to carrier-specific updates, customer, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work remotely with ad hoc in-office meetings as needed (i.e. performance reviews, team events). Schedule requirement is10pm to 8am beginning on the evening of Friday & Saturday with potential ad hoc shifts pending After-Hours team coverage needed. The ad hoc shifts would be communicated and discussed with the manager before accepting.
  • 1+ year experience of logistics experience
  • 1+ year experience as Operations Representative or Tracking Support
  • Experience supporting in After-Hours capacity
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with reporting
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate of $23/hr
