ABOUT THE POSITION
Anchor Home is opening a Weekend Coordinator position to candidates who demonstrate leadership potential, strong performance, and a commitment to our mission of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This role is an opportunity for current employees to grow into a leadership position within our Residential Program. The Weekend Coordinator serves as both a direct support professional leader and a key point of contact for Weekend Staff across all of our residential homes.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating smooth weekend operations across all homes and ensuring high-quality services are delivered consistently, safely, and effectively.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all residential staff during weekend shifts.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff regarding day-to-day operations, staffing concerns, or client needs.
  • Respond promptly to urgent situations, incidents, and minor emergencies.
  • Assist with managing staffing coverage for weekend call-outs, schedule gaps, and last-minute staffing needs.
  • Coordinate communication between residential staff, leadership, and on-call management as needed.
  • Conduct check-ins with homes to ensure services are being delivered in accordance with agency standards.
  • Provide hands-on support within homes when necessary, including assisting as a driver or Certified Medication Technician (CMT).
  • Ensure proper documentation and communication of incidents, concerns, and follow-up needs to leadership teams.
  • Help ensure all weekend activities, appointments, medications, and community outings are completed safely and appropriately.
  • Maintain availability and flexibility to travel between multiple residential locations throughout the weekend.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 1+ years of documented experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Minimum of 1+ years supervisory experience. Supervisory experience working with the population served is a plus.
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • CMT required
  • Highly organized with strong administrative skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and strong commitment to professional growth

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
  • Shift: Saturdays and Sundays 7 AM to 11 PM
  • Pay: $20 per hour
  • Reports to the Residential Program Manager
