Responsibilities

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Lead to support our Digital Acquisition client at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. This individual will work directly alongside a Digital Acquisition Director, as we establish a new Department in PAE(A) and lead NAVAIRโ€™s transformation of the acquisition lifecycle toward a model-based and digitally enabled framework. This is a dynamic, mission-driven environment where your contributions will directly support cutting-edge defense acquisition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and coordination of Departmentโ€™s Operations and Communications team, maintaining oversight and status but delegating as appropriate.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of day-to-day operations and both internal and external communications activities supporting the Director, Department, senior leadership, and aligned organizational priorities.
  • Maintain the Digital Acquisition Center of Expertiseโ€™s (DACEโ€™s) Network of internal and external partners, including communications and management of released guidance, status, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Establish priorities, deconflict competing requirements, and synchronize activities across staff, functional areas, and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate senior-level meetings, executive engagements, workshops, off-sites, and organizational events from planning through execution.
  • Support the development and execution of the Department's strategic priorities, coordinating across the teams to ensure that leadershipโ€™s direction is translated into actionable plans, milestones, operating rhythms, and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain visibility of leadership commitments, action items, suspense dates, and organizational taskers and ensure timely follow-through.
  • Establish and maintain operational trackers, dashboards, calendars, and reporting mechanisms to provide leadership with timely visibility into organizational activities.
  • Establish and maintain visibility of material procurement actions from requirement identification through completion in support of the Departmentโ€™s roadmap.
  • Ensure material procurement documentation and records are organized, complete, and maintained.
  • Establish and maintain standards for site organization, content management, document repositories, permissions, navigation, and information architecture.
  • Oversee video-production support activities and ensure appropriate handling, organization, storage, and transfer of files.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex operational issues before matters are elevated to senior leadership.
  • Establish and oversee organizational practices for managing digital and physical records, correspondence, briefing materials, program documentation, and institutional knowledge.

Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business administration, Communications, or a related field. Masters preferred. 10 + years' experience in operations, executive support, or program management
  • Active Secret clearance, or willingness and ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proficiency in data management and version/change control processes
  • Proficiency with Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power BI and/or other data visualization & workflow automation tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment with discretion and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5+ years of prior experience supporting government or DoD programs
  • Experience with SharePoint Online administration and Communication Sites
  • Experience with procurement, contracting or resource management
  • Familiarity with DoD policies & acquisition processes

Compensation Statement
At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $134,815.03 - $164,815.03
