Job description

The City of Surprise Human Service & Community Vitality Department is seeking an energetic, friendly, team-oriented individual who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our community. This position plays an important role in supporting the growth of the department by helping maintain quality spaces where people can connect and programs can thrive. Your work will help ensure our facilities reflect the pride and care we have for those we serve.

HOURS MAY VARY UP TO 28 - HOURS PER WEEK SUMMARY Incumbents perform routine custodial and building maintenance or general labor work, including cleaning of offices and shared spaces, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, picking up trash and debris, and grounds maintenance work and other general labor. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Any combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must have at time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License.
