Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time, On-Call Human Service Worker at our Intensive Residential Treatment Center in Provo, Utah! This onsite position offers a competitive wage of $17.50–$22.17/hour and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults living with chronic mental illness. You'll provide compassionate support and supervision while helping residents build daily living skills, participate in structured activities, and work toward greater independence in a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. We value collaboration, innovation, empathy, and creating a workplace where both clients and employees can thrive.What You'll Do as a Human Service WorkerProvide compassionate support, supervision, and encouragement to program participants.Assist residents with daily routines, living skills, and activities that promote independence.Facilitate structured activities and skills groups in a supportive environment.Assist with crisis intervention and help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic setting.Document client interactions, progress, and observations accurately and timely.Collaborate with therapists, supervisors, nursing staff, and other members of the treatment team.Model positive behaviors, healthy coping strategies, and effective communication.Support residents as they work toward their individualized treatment and recovery goals.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situationsReliable, team-oriented, and eager to learnExperience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not requiredMust pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standardsSpanish speakers may qualify for a wage increaseApply TodayReady to make a real impact?
