Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary:
Join the Clay Center/O'Donnell Center events team of students assistants and experience the behind the scenes of our events. Applicants must convey a professional demeanor for this position as there will be interaction with campus and corporate partners. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, setting up and breaking down event space, checking in guests, and other event related tasks. Event assistants will be required to be on premises before, during and after events they sign up to work.
Requirements:
Good interpersonal skills required, flexible availability for days, evenings, and very infrequent weekend event. Commit to working at least every 2 weeks. This job commitment requires at least a 4 hour set up shift per week in Bartley Hall Monday through Thursday from 4:30 to 8:30 pm for events. Day and weekend events times will vary depending on the program. You are expected to work the shift you selected for the entire semester.
