Job description

Job Title: LVN/LPN – Float

Location: Leawood, KS, 66211
Job Type: Full-Time Contract
Schedule: 32–40 hours per week, including every other weekend
Contract Duration: Approximately 6+ months
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced LVN/LPN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting. This position may require floating to nearby clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications, vaccines, and clinical treatments.
  • Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, conduct point-of-care testing, and perform phlebotomy.
  • Document patient information and care accurately using EMR systems; Epic experience is preferred.
  • Support patient education, medication reviews, and care coordination.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical team members to support quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license.
  • At least one year of relevant healthcare experience.
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings is required.
  • Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems; Epic experience is preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including every other weekend, select holidays, and floating to nearby locations.

Additional Information

This is a temporary/contract position with the possibility of conversion to a permanent role; however, conversion is not guaranteed.
