ICU Stepdown / PCU / IMC – Telemetry Registered Nurse

Shift: 12-hour day shifts Weekend requirement: Every other weekend Contract: 13-week assignments Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours available Minimum 2 years relevant experience License: NC or compact license pending acceptable for submittal Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (BCLS), NIHSS Strong vasoactive/pressor drip experience Experience with arterial lines and telemetry/dysrhythmia recognition & management Required clinical skills: Arterial line care/management Titration/management of vasoactive/cardiac drips Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia management Central line / PICC / peripheral IV care and IV starts Blood product administration, IV insulin protocols Chest tube and tracheostomy care Non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP), HFNC, supplemental O2 Use of Rapid Response/Code teams; conscious sedation experience Must pass EKG testing prior to start Candidate must go to lab within 48 hours after signing; all testing completed within 48 hours Pre-start modules required (acute care ~8–10 hours); modules must be completed pre-start Must be open to floating per job description Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (per facility policy)
