Location: Off-site at venues througout Chicago

Hearty Boys Caterers is hiring experienced Event Cooks for off-site catered events including weddings, private parties, and corporate functions. Events take place at venues such as the Chicago Cultural Center, Artifact Events, Fairlie, Salvage One, Greenhouse Loft, and more.

Most shifts are on weekends, ideal for those seeking flexible weekend work

Compensation:
$18 - $24 per hour (based on experience), plus gratuities.

Key Duties

  • Prepare and cook food for off-site events, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Follow directions from the Head Chef and work as part of a team
  • Maintain food safety standards and a clean work area
  • Help load/unload equipment at event sites
  • Stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced setting

Requirements

  • 2+ year catering experience (off-site preferred)
  • Valid Cook County Food Handler Certificate
  • Personal kitchen gear: jacket, hat, non-slip shoes
