Job description

Web Strategist (Future Opportunity)
Position Summary
We’re seeking a thoughtful and strategic Web Strategist to lead client website projects from discovery through execution. You’ll bridge user behavior, business goals, and technical implementation — crafting strategies that drive engagement and measurable performance.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and helping clients find clarity through informed strategy and clear communication. You’ll guide web project strategy, create wireframes and content outlines, and partner closely with UX, design, and development teams. While this position doesn’t involve hands-on design or coding, a strong technical understanding and user-centered mindset are key.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic direction and client communication for web projects, ensuring alignment between scope, goals, and cross-functional execution
  • Conduct website audits using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) and translate findings into actionable strategy
  • Develop wireframes and content outlines rooted in user experience and business outcomes
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and other strategists to deliver high-impact digital experiences
  • Track site performance and contribute to ongoing optimization recommendations
  • Build strong client relationships and help resolve challenges throughout the project lifecycle
Milestones for Success
Within 60 Days:
  • Complete onboarding and become familiar with New Breed’s tech stack and internal team structure
  • Earn required certifications aligned with New Breed’s HubSpot Partner status and accreditations
  • Contribute to web strategy initiatives while building fluency in tools, team dynamics, and project delivery processes
Within 3 Months:
  • Independently lead website strategy engagements from discovery through delivery, including client communication, wireframes, and performance audits
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of strategic recommendations
Within 1 Year:
  • Propose process improvements that streamline workflow and improve the client experience
  • Contribute thought leadership and mentorship within the team through shared learning and insight
  • Drive measurable improvements to client websites through strategic direction and collaboration
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of agency experience in a client-facing web strategy, UX, or digital project management role
  • Proven independent ownership of a portfolio of concurrent clients.
  • Skilled in developing wireframes and content outlines grounded in user experience and business goals
  • Strong understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., HubSpot, WordPress) and web functionality
  • Proficiency with tools like Sketch, Figma, InVision, and Kantata (or similar project management tools)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate performance data into action
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and curious — eager to stay current with trends
  • Alignment with New Breed’s core values and a team-first mindset
