In support of our differentiated retail strategy, we are looking for an SVP of Retail. This is a key leadership role in the company as this individual will provide strategic leadership and hands-on operational guidance for Global's retail markets and associated support teams. This includes a keen awareness of healthy lifestyle and how to deliver those to the marketplace guests. This leader is directly accountable for building teams who will execute strategies to achieve the retail organization's short- and long-term performance goals, including revenue growth, operational KPls, profitability/margin targets, as well as inspiring hospitality standards and culture for employee and guests. The Senior Vice President, Retail ensures efficient operations and effective systems to accomplish Global's performance goals, along with the overarching corporate vision, strategy, and values.

Job Description:
  • Partner with the executive leadership team to establish, communicate, and implement the vision, mission, and strategic direction of Global's retail division.
  • Lead a team of operational leaders and associated support function, including Food Service, Culinary, Merchandise Markets, Merchandising, Marketing, Asset Protection, and Franchise Relations.
  • Collaboratively set and lead the execution of standard operating procedures for the physical markets and operations team, assigning accountability and driving ownership.
  • In concert with team members, formulate strategy, look, feel, and design of markets.
  • Monitor and drive team engagement across locations and partner with the HR team to create strategies and actions to address opportunities and issues Create and execute recurring mechanisms to actively listen to employees at all levels, to be visible, and to support a culture of positive employee engagement and trust.
  • Engage leadership to inspire a culture of sustainable continuous improvement.
  • Deliver frictionless, innovative, and opportunistic solutions to our retail marketplace customers.
  • Deliver great guest experience in markets in accordance with the defined hospitality and service standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain collaborative partnerships within the division and foster relationships and effective teamwork to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain collaborative partnerships outside of the division with key departments and colleagues, such as Information Technology, Finance, Construction, and Human Resources.
  • Work with the Regional VPs to ensure that our markets are operating in a Best-of-Class manner, delivering on all SOPs and achieving all established performance metrics.
  • Monitor and actively manage the team's workload and resources to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Lead designated programs/projects that are critical to the success of the retail organization.
  • Work with executive leadership to determine priorities and set growth targets and plans for individual brands and the retail division.
  • Monitor all audits regionally, internally and third party for timely completion and positive outcome, taking corrective action when and where necessary.
  • Review all reporting to make certain that each region is performing all internal processes.
  • Represent Global Partners as a whole and gain broad knowledge of all aspects of the business.
  • Has held full P&L responsibility in a business of relevant scale and complexity. Broadly experienced, future focused leader with a balance of operational expertise and commercial orientation.
  • Food Industry Experience: Experience in a multi-location food business including retail, restaurants, and other hospitality platforms. As an ideal, has worked with fresh, made-to-order or prepared foods. Experience with forward-thinking and innovative food trends is desirable.

Additional Job Description:
Pay Range:
$309,700.00 - $495,300.00
The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
