Bank Midwest is seeking an Ag/Commercial Lender to join our team as VP, Business Banker!ย This position could be located in either our full-service New Ulm branch, or our new lending office in Mankato.ย  Must enjoy working in a team environment that values honesty, integrity, and a passion for service and community involvement.

  • Responsibilities / Duties:
    • Build long-term relationships with business and agricultural clients by providing extensive financial analysis and guidance on business practices.
    • Develop new business, underwriting, structuring, and closing of commercial and/or agricultural loans.
    • Maintain and service existing loan portfolio.
  • Competencies
    • Strong financial analytical skills with ability to provide sound business guidance.
    • Originate, analyze, and service a variety of moderately complex commercial and/or agricultural loans.
    • Must be successful in sales process and ability to sell bank products and services.
    • Strong self-motivation, relationship-building, and customer focus.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Economics, or equivalent work experience.
    • Five years Ag and/or Commercial lending experience preferred.
