We are immediately hiring a HR & Administrative Support. This position provides both Human Resources and administrative support within a busy manufacturing environment, serving as a key resource for employees and leaders across our Dallas, GA and Mansfield, TX operations. This is a full-time position located at our Dallas, GA plant, 356 Academy Dr, Dallas, GA 30132, with periodic travel our Mansfield, Texas plant.

This role is responsible for providing day-to-day HR and administrative support, while ensuring employees receive timely, professional, and confidential assistance regarding HR-related questions, concerns, policies, and employee programs.

What You'll Do

Human Resources Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for plant employees regarding questions, concerns, policies, benefits, attendance, PTO, and employee programs
  • Partner with plant leadership and Corporate Human Resources to support employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and investigations
  • Coordinate temporary staffing activities, onboarding, new employee orientations, and 90-day follow-up discussions
  • Support payroll and attendance processes, including timecard review, PTO and absence tracking, payroll submissions, and employee record maintenance
  • Partner with plant leadership on employee discipline administration and help ensure the consistent application of policies and procedures
  • Coordinate plant training activities and maintain training, compliance, certification, and employee development records
  • Assist with workers' compensation, OSHA, safety, environmental, and other compliance-related documentation
  • Prepare termination documentation and assist with administration of the termination process
  • Assist with benefits administration, leave programs, open enrollment activities, and employee inquiries
  • Maintain employee files, HR reports, spreadsheets, compliance documentation, and employee data within company systems
  • Assist with employee communications, surveys, Lunch & Learn programs, recognition initiatives, wellness activities, service awards, and employee engagement programs
  • Assist with recruitment activities by coordinating interviews, candidate communications, onboarding logistics, and recruitment-related reporting and documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and workplace requirements
  • Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned

Plant & Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative and procurement support to plant leadership
  • Serve as a resource for employee support items including uniforms, safety equipment, office supplies, plant supplies, and related employee resources
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships and related administrative activities, including janitorial services, copier services, and similar plant support functions
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, spreadsheets, filing, and other administrative documentation
  • Assist with plant communications by preparing and distributing notices and information
  • Support employee events, recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and other plant activities
  • Perform additional administrative, HR, and special project responsibilities as assigned

  • Human Resources and/or administrative experience required
  • Human Resources experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, plant, or similar operational environment preferred
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to support employees and leaders at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, solve problems, and follow through on responsibilities
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, accountability, responsiveness, and teamwork
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, applicant tracking systems, or Paylocity preferred
  • Working knowledge of employment and workplace regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, workers' compensation, unemployment, and wage and hour requirements preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing business needs

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma with relevant work experience, or Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to travel (at least quarterly) to Mansfield, Texas
  • Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate travel identification (REAL ID or passport)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
