Position Summary

The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager is responsible for the strategic administration, optimization, security, and continuous improvement of Everstand's Human Capital Management Technology platforms. This position serves as the organization's subject matter expert for HR technology, leading system administration, business process automation, reporting, integrations, implementation projects, and data governance initiatives. The HRIS Manager partners with Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, Payroll, Quality Improvement, and operational leadership to ensure HR systems support organizational goals while delivering efficient, compliant, and user-friendly solutions.

This role oversees the ongoing administration of ADP Workforce Now, Greenhouse ATS, HireRight, ServiceNow HR workflows, and future HR technology platforms while leading system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and optimization initiatives. Your efforts will help us fulfill our mission of enriching communities, one family at a time.


Essential Functions

  • Serves as the HR technology advisor to organizational leadership.
  • Primary system administrator for ADP Workforce Now and all HR technology platforms.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize HRIS modules including:
  • Core HR
  • Payroll
  • Benefits Administration
  • Time & Attendance
  • Performance Management
  • Develop and execute the organization's HR technology roadmap.
  • Evaluate emerging HR technologies and recommend system enhancements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase automation and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes through technology.
  • Lead the implementation of new HR technologies.
  • Manage vendor relationships and implementation partners.
  • Oversee project timelines, testing, issue resolution, and production deployments.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Customer Support & Training

  • Serve as Tier III HRIS support.
  • Troubleshoot system issues.
  • Train HR staff and organizational leaders.
  • Develop user guides and job aids.
  • Coordinate vendor support when necessary.

Vendor Management

  • Serve as primary liaison with HR technology vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance.
  • Coordinate upgrades.
  • Manage support tickets.
  • Evaluate contract renewals and future system enhancements
  • Ensure successful adoption through communication and change management.

Non-Essential Functions

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Assist other departments as organizational needs require.
  • Participate in organizational committees and special projects.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible HRIS administration experience.
  • Three (3) years managing enterprise HRIS platforms.
  • Experience implementing enterprise HR systems.
  • Experience with HR technology integrations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience.
  • Greenhouse ATS administration.
  • HireRight administration.
  • ServiceNow HRSD experience.


Preferred Certifications

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
  • HRCI Certification
  • ADP Workforce Now Certification


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No direct reports.

Travel

Occasional travel (10-15%) between Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Washington, DC locations.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Leave is available by going through the prescribed leave request process. Non-essential to inclement weather response. Must be able to travel to Headquarters in Baltimore, MD, 2-3 times per year to attend leadership meetings.
