Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and looking to grow your career in HR systems? We are seeking an HRIS Specialist to join a growing organization in San Diego on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working in HR, payroll, or HR systems who enjoys working with data, reporting, and process improvement.
The HRIS Specialist will support the day-to-day administration of the Dayforce HRIS platform, assist with reporting and data entry, and partner with HR and Payroll teams to maintain accurate employee information.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the maintenance and administration of the Dayforce HRIS system
  • Enter, update, and audit employee data to ensure accuracy
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports using Dayforce and Excel
  • Assist with data audits and resolve discrepancies
  • Provide support for HR and Payroll system-related questions
  • Help test system updates and enhancements
  • Import and export employee data as needed
  • Document procedures and assist with process improvements
  • Support various HR projects and initiatives
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in HR, Payroll, HRIS, or a related administrative role
  • Experience using Dayforce strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel skills and data organization
  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data and maintaining confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
