Job Responsibilities

As a Retail Visual Specialist, execute all aspects of visual merchandising in your location.

Successful candidates for the Retail Visual Specialist role would have the ability and desire to engage customers through storewide visual merchandising programs.

Job Requirements:

  • Follow corporate visual direction and adapt to best fit your location.
  • Partner with store manager, assistant manager, & department managers to execute presentations.
  • Follow event calendars and sale dates to set promotional events.
  • Update and maintain fashion forward mannequins & forms on a weekly basis.
  • Adjust accent lighting as needed for presentations.
  • Upkeep existing presentations throughout the store as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of visual shop and fixture/hardware area.
  • Attend weekly WEBEX call for visual merchandising direction.
  • Email communications with stores management and corporate visual.
  • Web based order forms for graphics, vinyl, supplies following corporate guidelines

Job Requirements 
Successful candidates for the Retail Visual Specialist role should have the ability and desire to actively engage customers through storewide visual merchandising programs. 
Additional requirements of the Retail Visual Specialist include: 

  • Experience in merchandising and styling, with knowledge of current trends.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, highly organized with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and understand floor plans and planograms.
  • Comfortable operating a computer/ tablet, open to learning new programs and systems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, or independently with little supervision. 
  • Assist with store openings/ renovation floor sets that could include overnight travel.
