Our gift store areas play a key role in setting our stores apart, and we are committed to thoughtful merchandising that drives sales while telling a compelling brand story.
Position Summary
The Retail Merchandising Specialist supports Jack Flash retail teams by executing creative, brand-right visual merchandising throughout our gift store locations. This role blends hands-on execution with creativity and organization, ensuring that every product display is visually appealing, customer-focused, and aligned with company standards. The Visual Merchandising Specialist works closely with office leadership, marketing, and store management while traveling to store locations to bring merchandising plans to life.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a retail environment, has a strong eye for detail and design, and is comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating with multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute visual merchandising plans, floor sets, and product presentations across all Jack Flash gift store locations
  • Travel regularly to store locations to implement displays, resets, and signage updates according to brand standards
  • Collaborate with office leadership, marketing, and in-store teams to interpret merchandising direction and promotional priorities
  • Refresh and maintain in-store displays to highlight new products, seasonal offerings, and promotions
  • Ensure shelves, fixtures, and display areas are clean, organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing
  • Assist with product placement and inventory flow to maximize product visibility and sales performance
  • Evaluate display effectiveness and provide feedback and improvement recommendations
  • Support store managers and team members with merchandising best practices
  • Assist with general store operations as needed

Qualifications
  • Previous retail, merchandising, or visual presentation experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong eye for design, color, layout, and visual detail
  • Ability to follow brand standards while applying creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise and fixtures up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or holidays
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between store locations
