About the Role
We are hiring a contract Visual Merchandise Coordinator for our client in Phoenix, AZ. This is an ongoing, full-time contract role with the potential to become permanent. It is an on-site position with an option to work remotely one day a week. The Visual Merchandising Coordinator plays a crucial role in bringing our clients' in-store vision to life. This hands-on role involves supporting visual execution through pre-planning, developing display creative, preparing displays forleadership walks,andcommunicating display requirementsfor store implementation-collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure every element aligns with our client's brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the merchandise teams to establish plan-o-grams (POGs)and address upcoming visual merchandising requests.
  • Assist with fixture and product placement during walk-throughs to align with the overall merchandising strategy.
  • Own the displaydevelopmentformerchantmilestonewalks, ensuring visuals, PDQs, and products are accurately represented within plan-o-grams. Collaborate with the merchant team to create a layout that effectively presents products and information, enhancing the customer experience.
  • Help prepare theDrive Aisle (DA)for set-up by arranging the correct fixtures in their designated locations according to the fixture map.
  • Pre-set for leadership approval walks: Make sure all fixtures are clean, organized, and free of debris or unrelated objects before leadership reviews.
  • Post-CEO Walk:Remove temporary pricing strips, sticky notes, papers, extra pegs, and debris to prepare the space for photography and documentation.
  • Gather and organize data to support the development of PDQ (pre-packed display) and corrugate/ fixtures.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers to ensure that creative briefs include all necessary and accurate details for monthly submissions.
  • Collaborate with multiple corrugated display manufacturers to oversee the review of the white sample process.
  • Provide vendors with feedback and modification notes to ensure their displays meet visual and inventory specifications.
  • Maintain monthly plan-o-gram setups throughout the MDC(mock store),ensuring all sign kits are installed, fixtures are stored properly, and signage is current.
  • Unbox and set up new white samples; document and share photos and summaries with internal team teams.
  • Help maintain thepeg/supply cartto ensure fixtures and supplies are stocked and organized for efficient set-ups.
  • Manage the creative team's sample store sections and workstations, ensuring spaces stay organized and efficient.
Requirements:
  • One to four years of experience in retail visual merchandising, field merchandising, or related areas.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A mobile device capable of uploading and sharing photos is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, is a plus.
  • Assembly of corrugated displays is required; must be able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Must live in the Phoenix, AZ area.
