Job Description
 
Are you an eager Medical Receptionist seeking a rewarding position in the Austin area? Our client is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their team! Your expertise is needed and appreciated in this clinic. If you are a Medical Receptionist who has a passion for aiding the people in your community, submit your resume today!
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic, including scheduling and confirming appointments, check-in/check-out, collecting co-pays, rooming patients, and taking vital signs
  • Prepare and escort patients to exam rooms to ensure timely and efficient visits
  • Work closely with providers to support daily clinical operations
  • Respond to patient inquiries by phone, email, or in person in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Maintain front desk operations and ensure reception areas are clean and organized
  • Assist providers with clinical tasks as requested
  • Monitor, stock, and maintain medical and office supplies and equipment
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
 
  • Two years of Medical Receptionist experience within a Physician's office/clinic is required.
  • Previous experience with using EMR software is required. 
  • Medical Receptionist experience within a Psychiatry clinic is highly preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of insurance verification.
