How to Become a Virtual Receptionist

The qualifications that you need to start a career as a virtual receptionist include at least a high school diploma or GED certificate and previous experience in a similar role. Some employers may prefer applicants with a postsecondary certificate or degree in business, communications, or a subject related to the company’s industry. For some positions, you may also need to have bilingual ability, particularly in Spanish.
