Description
Reliant Safety was founded in 2009 to provide comprehensive property security and management solutions for the affordable housing market nationwide. Reliant Safety currently maintains and monitors over 30,000 cameras across eleven states, which support approximately 40,000 residential units. We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager & CAD Drafter to join our rapidly growing team.
Objective: The Assistant Project Manager & CAD Drafter will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of projects through meticulous planning, communication, and documentation. This position requires a highly organized individual who can multitask and manage various project components simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Classification: Non-exempt (overtime eligible)
Hybrid Schedule: 3 Days in Office/2 days' Work from Home
Location: New York, NY
Essential Function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Attend virtual project meetings, take detailed minutes, and ensure all action items are recorded and tracked.
  • Create and update project drawings to reflect the status and changes.
  • Maintain and update project punch lists through continuous communication with field staff, ensuring all tasks are completed.
  • Regularly update and manage project schedules to keep the project on track.
  • Serve as a liaison between subcontractors, general contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear and consistent communication.
  • Organize and manage the logistics of project components, ensuring timely delivery and proper resource allocation.
  • Create and maintain configuration documents, track project completion percentages, and compile comprehensive closeout documents.
  • Provide assistance with software configuration as needed to support project requirements.

Salary Range: $85,000 - 95,000
Requirements :
  • Must be proficient in CAD.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Project.
  • Bachelor's or Masters's degree required.
  • CSPM, PSP, or PMP certifications a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year of CCTV, access control, or IT experience.
  • Must be able to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to read/interpret various types of drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in network architecture and protocols.
