Role Overview

The Events Manager will be responsible for the successful development and execution of Broadridge's in-person and virtual events, as well as industry conferences and hospitality events. The successful candidate will develop innovative and engaging events that drive revenue and pipeline development, increase Broadridge's reputation and awareness, and meaningfully engage with our clients, prospects, and associates. The role will partner with Marketing, Sales, Account Management and Business Leaders.


Key components of this position include leveraging technology platforms and event best practices to deliver quality client experiences to the marketplace. The ideal candidate will understand platform integration with internal CRM systems, and work closely with internal clients on event strategy and execution.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support revenue, retention, strategy, and reputation goals by partnering with Marketing, Sales, Account Management and Business Leaders to develop and execute world-class in-person and virtual events for clients, prospects, and associates.

  • Oversee event experiences and logistics from concept through to post-event: managing budgets, planning, production, speaker outreach, etc. while ensuring consistent, high-level service throughout all phases including management of event, attendee registrations, email communications, and coordination across the various stakeholder groups.

  • Ensure all programs are measured with a consistent and appropriate set of KPIs contributing to department ROMI measurement and reporting.

  • Manage the planning and production of virtual events in collaboration with stakeholders and provide presentation strategy and coaching.

  • Provide on-site support at events as needed. Up to 30% travel.

  • Stay current with best practices for event planning, technology, multimedia production and design trends.

  • Demonstrate deep technical knowledge of different vendors and platforms that support events and other multi-media experiences.

  • Nurture and build relationships with vendors and other industry contacts to craft and implement creative and logistical aspects of all virtual events.

  • Identify and create processimprovements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in producing virtual and in-person events

  • Proven success in generating leads via client/prospect engagement programs

  • Excellent communication skills (spoken & written)

  • BA/BS Degree required

  • Cvent; ON24; Socialive; GlobalMeet; Webex; and/or SalesForce experience a plus
